Antique French oil painting portrait of Christ at Gethsemane. French School, circa 1910-20. Unsigned, artist unknown. Depicts Christ praying in the garden of Gethsemane. Oil on canvas. Carved gilt frame. Size of frame: 14 x 11.5 inches; Size of canvas: 11 x 8 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 10.5 x 7.5 inches. Weight: g (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some knocks to and pieces missing from wooden frame but all part of its charm and character. The antique wood of this item has had a minor woodworm infestation at some point in its long life. However, this has now been specially treated to eradicate. Priced accordingly.
