Antique French oil painting portrait of a musketeer. French School, circa 1860-80. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 18 x 14.5 inches. Size of canvas: 14.5 x 10.75 inches Size of front oval aperture: 13.5 x 10 inches. Weight: 1.65 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
