Antique French landscape oil painting with rocky outcrop signed A de Hotelans dated 1868. French, circa 1900. Signed by the artist. Oil on canvas. Lots of provenance on reverse of canvas: "A la Malcombe pres Besancon, Aug-Sept 1868". Besançon is a city in eastern France, near the border with Switzerland. Size: 28.75 x 21.25 inches. Weight: 1.9 kg (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and minor craquelure but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
