Antique French herb chopping board with 2 herb choppers mezzaluna and other. French, circa 1900. Comprises chopping board/tray, two herb choppers - one straight handle with large blade with French maker's name on and the other one is curved - half moon shape, steel single curved blade and turned wooden handles (mezzaluna). Size: Board: width at front: 17.5 inches; width at back: 11.5 inches; depth: 9 inches; height of back: 2.75 inches. Mezzaluna: length of blade: 9.5 inches; depth of blade: 2.25 inches; Large chopper: total length of blade and handle 11.5 inches; blade: 6 x 4 inches. Combined weight: 2.5 kg (allow up to 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - wooden board and wooden handles have some wear and blades have various marks and scratches but all part of its charm and character and perfectly functional for herb chopping. Best described as shabby chic. Great for the rustic kitchen.
