Antique French gilt clock dome base or jewellery display stand plateau. French, circa 1880. Solid piece of wood with gilt gesso decoration. Original top is missing. Size: length: base: 10.5 x 5.5 inches; height: 1.75 inches. Weight: 420g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - original top is missing, various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from edges but all part of its charm and character. Best described as faded grandeur or shabby chic. Priced accordingly.
