Antique French cast iron mechanical leatherworking press. French, circa 1890-1900. Maker's name and Paris stamp. Cast iron with brass handle and finial. Size: length of base: 4.75 inches; width of base: 2.5 inches; height to finial: 8.25 inches; total height to handle knob: 11 inches. Weight: 1.4 kg (allow 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks and scratches but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
