Antique French blue gilt display jewellery stand plateau with 6 bun feet. French, circa 1890. Solid piece of wood with gilt edging, faded blue silk top and 6 bun feet. Originally a clock base but suitable as a display stand. Size: length: 12 x 7.25 inches; height 1.5 inches. Weight: 726g (allow 2 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age - lots of wear and fading to top and various knocks to and pieces missing from gesso edging but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. A lovely thing - think faded grandeur.
