Antique French blue cotton velvet long riding jacket coat theatrical costume size S - shabby chic. 100% Cotton - velvet. Collar and cuffs with trim, faux buttons (some missing), open style, doesn't have buttonholes, some wear to velvet pile - quite shabby but wonderful. Originally a riding jacket but has a distinct theatrical costume flavour to it. Size: Chest: 34 inches; Shoulder to shoulder: 17 inches; Sleeve length: 20 inches; arm inseam: 16 inches; Length: 37 inches. Weight: 738g (allow up to 2 kg once packed). Tatty condition, commensurate with age and use - wear to neck and velvet pile (particularly on one shoulder), some buttons missing and worn, was previously a chest pocket (you can see the outline) but now missing, some wear to lining, etc, but an absolutely beautiful thing. A wonderful display item (if not to be worn).
