Antique English black silk top hat by J&J Matthews, The Grove, Stratford. Maker's label in base. Black silk outer, leather inner trim. Size: Small - inside circumference: 21 inches; height: 5.5 inches. Weight: 181g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - some dents on outside and crumpled with some wear to silk lining ie some tears inside. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic.
