Antique Edwardian green enamel hot water can jug. English, circa 1900. Originally used to fill free standing copper or tin baths with hot water, as seen in many National Trust bathrooms. Great for watering plants. Size: Height: 5.75 inches; Base: 7.25 x 4.75 inches. Weight: 893g (allow up to 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks and scratches, some chips to the enamel and some corrosion to the base rim but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic.
