Antique early Victorian mahogany candle box

Antique early Victorian mahogany candle box. English, circa 1840-60. Hinged lid, fretwork decoration on backboard - some damage. Size: height at back: 18.5 inches; width of lid: 7.5 inches; depth at top of box: 5 inches; depth at base of box: 4.5 inches. Weight: 1.43 kg (allow up to 4 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches and some damage to backboard at top and base rim so not perfect but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
