Antique Dutch traditional handmade dark blue wool jacket with red trim size S 10. 100% Wool. 19th Century. Originally worn by country girls/women in Holland. Square neck with red braid trim, side slits, longer tail detail at back, 2 hook & eye fastenings at front, red initials inside. Size: Chest: 36 inches; Shoulder to shoulder: 18.5 inches; Sleeve length: 14 inches; armhole width: 8 inches; cuff width: 4.5 inches; Length: 12 inches (front); 16 inches (back) (measured from centre back to hem). Weight: allow 1 kg once packed. Good condition. A wonderful little jacket. Looks great with a long gathered wool skirt.
