Antique Dutch oil painting study of interior scene with gentleman. Continental, Dutch, circa 1800-50. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on canvas. Depicts an interior scene with gentleman sitting in chair and boy in attendance. Size: 32 x 21 inches; Weight: 2.2 kg (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some craquelure but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This painting is quite sombre and melancholy and, although photographed in daylight, please understand that it is quite dark in reality.
