Antique Dutch oil painting on tin study of a domestic family scene with dog. Dutch School, circa 1800-20. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on tin. Gilt frame. Depicts a domestic interior scene - family with baby and dog. Size of frame: 10 x 8.25 inches; Size of tin panel: 7.5 x 6 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 6.75 x 5 inches. Weight: 340g (allow 2 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to gilt frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This painting is quite sombre and melancholy and, although photographed in daylight, please understand that it is quite dark in reality.
