Antique Dutch handmade wool and silk skirt size S/M. 100% Wool with silk panel at front. Check waistband with flat brown silk panels at front and wool lower section and back, pleat gathering at back, hook & eye fastening at side with apertures each side (for pockets), contrasting wool panels with black and grey patterns, check hem lining, braid at hem - amazing detail. A totally unique skirt. Size: Waist: 26 inches; Length: 30 inches. Weight: 730g (allow up to 2 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - some hand mends here and there but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Fantastic costume for film or theatre. A lovely warm winter skirt.
