Antique Dutch handmade dress navy blue and cream striped wool skirt and cotton top size M/L. Top: 100% Cotton - black/white patterned Skirt: 100% Wool - warm, thick fabric. Black sleeveless top/bodice with pattern and press stud fastening, attached to skirt with a plain black piece of cotton fabric. Skirt has pleat gathers and a black cotton/silk trim at hem - really unusual homemade dress. Naive, folk, primitive country style dress. Handmade by 19th Century women in Holland. Looks great with a white blouse. Size: Chest: 38 inches; armhole width: 8 inches; Waist: 38 inches; length of skirt: 29.5 inches; Total length: 45 inches (shoulder to hem). Weight: 655g (allow 1 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - obviously a modified garment but so unique and all part of its charm and character. Perfectly wearable. Priced accordingly.
