Antique Dutch handmade black wool skirt with silk and button detail size S/M. Continental, Dutch, circa 1900. 100% Wool. Waistband, flat front with intricate handgathering at back, side opening with hook & eye, tiered with silk trim and button decoration at each side, velvet dust trim at hem - lovely detail. This type of skirt would have been worn for Sunday best in Holland. Size: Waist: 20 inches; Length: 34 inches. Weight: allow up to 2 kg once packed. Good condition.
