Antique Dutch handmade black wool skirt with lace and buttons size L. Continental, Dutch, circa 1900. 100% Wool. Waistband, flat front with intricate handgathering at sides and back, front opening with hook & eye and press stud fastening at aperture, lace trim and button decoration, dust trim at hem - lovely detail. This type of skirt would have been worn for Sunday best in Holland. Size: Waist: 32 inches; Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: allow up to 2 kg once packed. Good condition for its age. Great costume for film or theatre (if not to be worn).
