Antique Dutch handmade black wool silk damask skirt size M/L. Continental, Dutch, circa 1900. Wool/Silk blend - damask. Waistband with trim, flat front with handgathering at sides and back, 2 front side openings with hook & eye fastening one side, velvet trim (worn). Size: Waist: 34 inches; Length: 33 inches. Weight: allow up to 2 kg once packed. Condition commensurate with age and use - naive handstitching visible at waistband and velvet trim is very worn but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Great costume for film or theatre (if not to be worn). Note: apologies, I realise I've photographed it with the hook & eye at the back whereas it should be at front side.
