Antique Dutch handmade black wool and silk jacket size M. Continental, Dutch, circa 1900. 100% Wool with silk damask front and turn up cuffs. 100% Cotton stripy lining. Deep square neck with silk damask wide trim, turn up sleeves with silk damask wide cuff, pinstriped cotton lining, hook & eye fastening at waist, tails detail at back. Size: Chest: 36 inches; Length: 24 inches; Sleeve inseam: 9.5 inches; Width across shoulders: 20 inches. Waist: 28 inches. Weight: 600g (allow 1 kg once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - some minor damage to silk damask at front ie some fraying both sides but not particularly noticeable; otherwise fine. Great costume for play or theatre production (if not to be worn).
