Ebonised wooden frame. Depicts an artist in red hat and striped shirt at work in his studio. Size of frame: 17 x 14.5 inches; Size of canvas: 11.5 x 9.5 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 10.75 x 8.25 inches. Weight: 1.5 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, craquelure and some minor knocks to frame, but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This painting is quite sombre and melancholy and, although photographed in daylight, please understand that it is quite dark in reality
