Antique Dutch Flemish coastal landscape oil painting with sailing boat. Dutch/Flemish School, circa 1880-1900. Unsigned, artist unknown. Oil on panel. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Depicts a sailing boat on the shore with figures. Size of frame: 15.75 x 12.75 inches; Size of panel: 10 x 7.5 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 9.75 x 6.75 inches. Weight: 1.23 kg (allow 5 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
