Antique Dutch black wool handmade ladies jacket with 3/4 sleeves size S/M. 100% Wool. 100% Cotton lining. Fitted jacket with embroidery, silk and lace detail at bib and silk floral vertical panel at front. Double layer at front with hook & eye fastening underneath and popper closure on one shoulder of bib, gathering at armholes and fitted sewn down pleat detail bodice. This type of jacket would have been worn in Holland for Sunday best. Size: Chest: 34 inches; Length: 20 inches; Sleeve length: 15 inches; arm inseam: 8.5 inches; Width across shoulders: 13.5 inches. Waist: 32 inches. Weight: 450g (allow 750g once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - there are various marks and mends/darns so not absolutely perfect but fine for its age. Priced accordingly. Great costume for play or theatre production (if not to be worn).
