Antique Continental signed oil painting study of chickens in barn. Flemish or Belgian, circa 1910-20. Signed by the artist but tricky to decipher signature. Oil on canvas, laid on board. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Depicts a barn interior with chickens. Size of frame: 21.25 x 20 inches; Size of painting: 13.5 x 11.75 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 13.25 x 11.25 inches. Weight: 3.7 kg (allow 8 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
