Antique Continental oil painting portrait study of gentlemen and ladies in park with small dogs by Alonzo Perez. Continental School, possibly Spanish. Circa 1880-1900. Signed by the artist. Oil on panel. Gilt gesso frame. Depicts a gathering of gentlemen and ladies in the park accompanied by several small dogs. Size of frame: 13.5 x 11.75 inches; Size of panel: 8 x 6 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 7 x 5.25 inches. Weight: 1.3 kg (allow 4 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, in particular one large scratch on righthand side, but otherwise fine and all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile. Therefore, whilst every care will be taken to pack this item extremely well, I cannot guarantee that some pieces of plaster will not become fragmented and dislodged.
