Signed by the artist, Edouard Agneessens (1842-1885), Ecole Belge - on plaque on frame. Oil on canvas laid on board. Elaborate gilt gesso frame. Size of frame: 20.75 x 18 inches; Size of portrait: 15.5 x 12.5 inches; Size of front portrait aperture: 15 x 12 inches. Weight: 2.6 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed). Reasonable condition for its age. Priced accordingly. This item is obviously delicate and the gesso frame fragile.
