Antique brass fireside trivet or pot stand

Antique brass fireside trivet or pot stand. English, circa 1890. Hand forged with fretwork. Wrought iron legs, turned wooden handle. Clips onto fireplace grate in order to place kettle or similar. Size: Width: 5.75 inches; Length: 13 inches; Height: 5 inches. Weight: 790g (allow up to 3 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks and scratches and some corrosion but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly.
