Antique Art Nouveau brass footman or fireside shelf

Antique Art Nouveau brass footman or fireside shelf. English, circa 1910. Decorative brass top and front with heart shaped decoration, handles each side and wrought iron frame. Originally used to as a footstool to warm feet, with a pot of coals put underneath. Size: top: width 16 inches; depth: 11.75 inches; height 12.5 inches. Weight: almost 5 kg (allow 10 kg volumetric weight once packed). Condition commensurate with age and use - various superficial marks & scratches and some minor corrosion to stand but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. A lovely stand.
