Depicts an interior scene with marble statue and mirror.

Weight: 2.9 kg (allow up to 10 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Frame is in tatty condition, commensurate with age - some craquelure to painting and lots of knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character.
This frame is extremely delicate and vulnerable to damage in transit, even with good packing.
On this occasion, therefore, the painting is offered for sale alone and the frame does not form part of the price. The frame will, however, be included in the purchase for free. That is to say, if you are purchasing this item, then it is on the understanding that it is the painting alone and the frame will be included as a gift (and therefore accepting any and all responsibility for damage in transit).

This beautiful piece is very old, and its gesso plaster frame is naturally rather delicate. We will pack it with the utmost care to help it reach you safely. That said, it’s possible that fragments of plaster may loosen in transit — this is quite normal for antique frames of this kind. By purchasing, you’re accepting this small risk when shipping by courier. Unfortunately, I’m not able to offer refunds or returns for losses of gesso that may occur in delivery.
